Rekamjabar.com (Kota bandung) – Menjelang peringatan HUT ke – 79 Republik Indonesia 17 Agustus mendatang, Pemdaprov Jabar menutup sementara Lapangan Gasibu untuk umum.
Kepala Biro Umum Setda Jabar Tulus Arifan mengatakan penutupan dilakukan selama enam hari mulai 14 Agustus – 19 Agustus 2019, guna mempersiapkan Gasibu sebagai venue puncak peringatan HUT RI, seperti yang diunggah akun resmi Instagram Biro Umum Setda Jabar.
Seluruh area lapangan dan parkir Gasibu ditutup sementara baik kegiatan olah raga maupun yang lainnya. Namun jalan di samping Gasibu baik Jalan Sentot Alibasya maupun Jalan Hayam Wuruk tetap dibuka normal.
“Kami menyampaikan permohonan kepada masyarakat, khususnya warga Kota Bandung atas penutupan sementara Lapangan Gasibu,” katanya, Minggu (11/8/2024).
Menurut Tulus, Lapangan Gasibu akan kembali dibuka untuk umum hari Selasa tanggal 20 Agustus, setelah upacara peringatan Hari Jadi ke-79 Provinsi Jabar yang jatuh setiap 19 Agustus. (mr)
