Pelatihan yang diikuti oleh 3.939 saksi ini bertujuan untuk mendongkrak suara Partai Demokrat di Kabupaten Ciamis dari Pemilu 2019 lalu. Hal itu disampaikan langsung oleh Anjar Asmara Ketua DPC Demokrat Kab.Ciamis yg juga Caleg DPRD Provinsi Jawa Barat Dapil 10 saat disambangi awak media.

“Jadi melalui kegiatan ini kami menekankan kepada kader Demokrat yang bertugas menjadi saksi di setiap TPS. Untuk mendongkrak suara Partai Demokrat di Pemilu 2024 bisa lebih bagus lagi dari 2019 lalu.” ungkapnya.
Saksi-saksi yang disiapkan ini merupakan para kader Demokrat dari setiap wilayah di Kabupaten Ciamis.
Sekertaris DPC Partai Demokrat Kabupaten Ciamis, Erik Krisdasetia juga mengatakan pihaknya menyampaikan pemahaman tentang tata cara, hak dan kewajiban saat mereka bekerja nanti ketika pelaksanaan Pemilu 2024.
